Amazon S3 usage versus S3 Stat usage
Any thoughts on why Amazon S3 reported 2,464 GB of data transfer for the month of February 2009, but S3 Stat reports only around 2,091 GB?My Amazon S3 account only has one active bucket and only serves a couple of video files - so it's a pretty simple setup.Any ideas? Thanks.

My suspicion would be that Amazon is reporting all traffic, including the GETs and PUTs that we do to move logfiles around. We have the webalizer reports set up to ignore this traffic, so I wouldn't be surprised if there was a small discrepancy. You're right though that it does seem to be a pretty big difference in reported traffic.

It looks like that for the month of March, the difference for me between Amazon reported usage and S3Stat usage was around 117 GB - or 10% of the total.That's a pretty big number. I'm wondering if not all logs are being imported or something.
