XML Feed
I am trying out your product, and it works great! However I need to take it one step further. I need to read data into to my admin tool and display monthly totals of bandwidth.Is it possible to get a simple XML dump of monthly bandwidth used, into the same folder as the html dump? I do not need detail just a simple total of current and maybe the 2 months previous.Can you offer anything like this?
I'd love to help you out with this, but realistically it probably falls into the category of things that will be easier for you to simply implement yourself.Since the information you're looking for is already available in the reports, it should be straightforward enough to scrape them directly.We did some research on what it would take to offer XML reports not too long ago, and to pull it off we'd essentially need to rewrite some of the core pieces of Webalizer. Considering the processing volume we see each day, any inefficiency we introduced, no matter how small, would significantly affect our throughput.For the amount of benefit it would give, it's just not worth the risk at this point. I'll keep you posted if we do decide to move forward with XML reports.
