Priority scheduling

Hello guys! I really like s3stat!
My name is Aleksander Hristov. Im the CTO of XS Software JSCo. We are one of the leading browser based gaming companies in the world. What im interested in is priority scheduling aka is it possible to get our logs processed faster then other logs from other users ? Ofcourse the pricing will be different :)

I guess it depends a bit on what you mean by "faster".

If you mean that you'd like to have your logs processed several times per day rather than just once every night, then you might be out of luck. Running incremental jobs would require having at least one worker machine running continuously, but the way we're set up, we tend to have a dozen machines running for only a few hours each night.

So realistically, if you wanted to run your reports more frequently, we'd need to provision a dedicated box to do it, and put together a custom incremental job to do the processing. It's certainly doable, but it's almost entirely custom, so we'd have to talk about building it on a consulting basis.

If, however, you just want your reports earlier each day, the quickest way to get moved up in the queue is to get bigger. All things being equal, a site with more traffic will find itself in the queue earlier than one with less traffic, so if you can secure yourself a good 50M daily users, you'll quickly find your reports showing up first thing in the morning.
