Filtering stats

Hi team,
I realise this may not be a support question for S3STAT but you may be able to point me in the right direction.

We are using AWS S3 to host a static website (which really is simply a redirect to a business website) with the primary purpose of serving audio files for a podcast series. All the related files are in a single bucket that we log and subsequently get you to provide us with those stats. There are a number of files in the bucket (such as the podcast image, the xml feed etc) which we don't really need stats for. We are really only interested in stats for each episode which we store in a subfolder by year. Is it possible to filter the stats results or only send log files per folder not bucket?

I hope you understand what I mean but if not let me know and I will try to explain in more detail. Thanks for your help. Dean

You're right that Amazon doesn't give you a way to only generate logfiles from certain files. This is a feature that we get asked for quite often though, so don't be surprised if we do roll out some form of filtering before long.

I'll keep you posted.
