Delays in stats updates
Hi, Firstly, very pleased with the service saved me a bunch of hassle, really great. Thanks.One small issue I have is that the stats sometimes seem to be a couple of days behind. Can you confirm that this is likely to be the case or if I'm imagining it? If it is the case, can this be quantified at all ie. all hits can be guarunteed to appear on s3stats within x days of the event?The delay isn;t a problem to me I just need a way of telling how up to date the stats are when I look at them.Many thanks

Thanks for that.The nightly job that processes logfiles kicks off at 2am PST, and generally runs for about 4 hours (on 6 machines running in parallel). If you're in England, that means your stats might not show up until 2pm the day after the logfiles are collected.So yes, you're right. There is a bit of a delay built in. We could in theory shorten that delay by a few hours by starting the job closer to midnight GMT and throwing more machines at it, but I'd hate to spoil the anticipation for everybody.
